Pep Band
Pep Band is an additional ensemble open to all band students in 7th and 8th grade. All you need is a completed participation form, your instrument, and plenty of school spirit--no auditions necessary!
The performance opportunities for this ensemble could include one Houston Middle School football game and one Houston High School football game in conjunction with the Houston High School Band. There may also be opportunities to regroup for additional school functions throughout the school year. Being in the Pep Band gives students extra performance practice in the fun environment of a school sporting event.
